Looking Glass River Near Eagle affecting Clinton County
.One to two inches of rain has fallen in the river basin since
Wednesday, which is causing minor flooding along the Looking Glass
River. The following forecast is based on observed and forecast
24 hour precipitation.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock
you off your feet... and a depth of 2 feet will float your car.
Never try to walk... swim... or drive through such swift water. If
you come upon flood waters... stop... turn around and go another way.
