Northeastern Hamilton County in southwestern Kansas... * Until 1015 PM MDT. * At 718 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimated that two to three inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Hamilton County. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
