The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  West central Niobrara County in east central Wyoming...
  Eastern Converse County in east central Wyoming...

* Until 900 PM MDT.

* At 827 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located 8 miles northwest of
  Lance Creek, or 28 miles northwest of Lusk, moving southeast at 35
  mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado and golf ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

At 840 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Lance Creek, or 22 miles north of Lusk, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Niobrara County.
