The moderate southeast winds will lead to increasing swells that will impact the beaches of the Middle Texas coast. With elevated astronomical tides combined with the moderate onshore flow and building swells, minor tidal overflow is expected for the beaches from Port Aransas south to Baffin Bay around the time of high tide Tuesday morning. Swells with long periods will also increase the risk for rip currents to high on Tuesday and should linger into Wednesday.
