NORTHEASTERN CATTARAUGUS...SOUTHWESTERN LIVINGSTON AND NORTHWESTERN ALLEGANY COUNTIES... At 417 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Rushford, or 23 miles southwest of Letchworth State Park, moving east at 20 mph. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Letchworth State Park, Belfast, Rushford, Houghton, Portageville, Caneadea, Pike, Castile, Belmont, Angelica, Lyndon, Short Tract, Fillmore, Hunt, Rossburg, Black Creek, Farmersville Station, Hardy Corners and Sandusky. This includes Interstate 86 between exits 30 and 31. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
