  East central Ontario County in western New York...

* Until 715 PM EDT.

* At 416 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Geneva, Seneca Castle and Seneca Lake State Park. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM EDT FOR
EAST CENTRAL ONTARIO COUNTY...

At 448 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in 
Geneva and Seneca with numerous flooded roads. Around two inches of 
rain fell in a short period of time. The rain is tapering off, but 
water will remain high through early evening.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Geneva, Seneca Castle and Seneca Lake State Park. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
