486 WWUS75 KBOU 140712 NPWBOU URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 1212 AM MST Thu Feb 14 2019 ...Windy Conditions Beginning to Subside... .Although strong westerly flow aloft continues over Colorado, the atmospheric conditions that produce the strongest surface winds have changed, and gusty winds will decrease in strength through the remainder of tonight. The strongest winds through the evening hours were in Boulder and northern Jefferson Counties where peak gusts up to 75 MPH were reported along Highway 93. Wind gusts are now down below 60 MPH with a further decrease expected over the next couple hours. Wind gusts of 35 to 50 MPH can still be expected overnight as snow also begins to increase, especially west of the Continental Divide. A combination of Winter Storm Warnings and Winter WEather Advisories remain in effect along the Front Range from the Wyoming border down to the high country of Park County.
