The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 4 AM PST Sunday. * TIMING...Winds will increase during the mid to late afternoon, peak this evening, and begin decreasing late tonight. * WINDS...West winds at 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 45 mph. * IMPACTS...Winds will make driving difficult for motorcyclists, large trucks, trailers, and campers traveling on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County. Areas of blowing dust and sand could cause areas of lower visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory means strong winds gusting over 40 mph can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Tie down loose cargo, watch for wind prone areas, and allow for enough space while passing. && $$
