THURSDAY TO NOON PST /1 PM MST/ FRIDAY...

* TIMING...Winds will increase early Thursday morning down the 
  Overton Arm of Lake Mead. The winds will then spread south 
  into the Lower Colorado River Valley, southern Clark and 
  eastern San Bernardino Counties. Winds will peak Thursday 
  afternoon and night before decreasing Friday morning. 

* WINDS...Sustained north winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 40 to 50 
  mph. 

* IMPACTS...Strong winds in excess of 30 MPH will create 
  dangerous boating conditions on area lakes during the advisory 
  period. These winds will create very choppy waters and 
  generate large waves which could capsize or swamp small craft. 
  For your personal safety...operators of small craft are urged 
  to postpone their outings until the winds subside. If you do 
  venture out onto the lakes...avoid the open water and stay 
  close to shore or in protected coves and inlets. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Freeze
Watch, which is in effect from Thursday evening through Friday
morning. 

* TEMPERATURE...Low temperatures of 29 to 32 degrees are expected
  in sheltered locations Friday morning, with more widespread
  temperatures of 28 to 32 expected Saturday morning as wind
  speeds relax. 

* IMPACTS...These temperatures will mark the end of the growing 
  season. Sub freezing temperatures will also pose dangers to pets
  left outside and any sensitive vegetation. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Preparations should be made to protect exposed outdoor water
pipes.

Wind speeds and gusts in the Advisory area remain elevated but

hours.
