...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS REPLACED WITH A WIND ADVISORY...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM PDT /11 AM MST/ this
morning to 7 PM PDT /7 PM MST/ this evening. The Lake Wind
Advisory has been cancelled. 

* TIMING...Winds will increase later this morning and continue 
  into the evening hours.
  
* WINDS...20 to 25 mph gusting to around 40 mph. Periods of 
  higher gusts possible on Lake Mead. 

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will create dangerous boating 
  conditions on Lake Mead and parts of Lake Mohave. These winds 
  will create very choppy waters which could capsize or swamp 
  small craft. For your safety...operators of small craft are 
  urged to postpone their outings until after the winds subside. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means strong winds gusting over 40 mph can make
driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.

* WINDS...South to southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 45 mph.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong can make driving
  difficult...especially for high profile vehicles and create
  areas of blowing dust or sand...resulting in briefly lower
  visibilities. The strong winds will create dangerous boating
  conditions on Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. These winds will create
  very choppy waters which could capsize or swamp small craft. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drivers...especially of high profile vehicles, use extra caution
today. Boaters...for your personal safety...operators of small 
craft are urged to postpone their outings until the winds subside.
If you do venture out onto the lakes today...avoid the open water
