The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind Advisory for the Springs Mountains including Red Rock Canyon and the town of Mount Charleston, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Thursday. * TIMING...Winds will increase late tonight, peaking Thursday morning through mid afternoon, and decrease towards sunset. * WINDS...Southwest winds of 30 to 40 mph gusting 40 to 50 mph can be expected.
