* WINDS...Below 5000 feet, localized west winds 25 to 35 mph,
  gusts to 50 mph near canyon openings primarily west of Highway 
  395. Above 5000 feet, west wind 35 to 45 mph, gusts to 65 mph.

  Highway 395. Blowing snow in the higher elevations.

* WINDS...West to southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 
  50 mph. 

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can blow away loose objects, raise large
  amounts of dust, and make driving and boating dangerous.
