The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Inyo County in south central California...

* Until 745 PM PDT.

* At 549 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing 
  heavy rain over Jubilee Pass Road east of Jubilee Pass in the 
  southern part of Death Valley National Park. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Flash flooding will affect Jubilee Pass Road...which is also 
  called State Highway 178.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM PDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN INYO COUNTY...

At 620 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated that rain had ended on 
Jubilee Pass Road east of Jubilee Pass. However, heavy rain fell on 
the road in a short period of time, and flash flooding may be 
ongoing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
