* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern Mohave County in northwestern Arizona...
* Until 445 PM MST.
* At 148 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain along the Hualapai Mountains near Kingman. Up to one
inch of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hualapai Mountain Park, Wild Cow Campground and Hualapai Peak.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
