.Recent heavy rainfall along with rainfall forecast over the next several
days is expected to cause several local rivers to rise into minor flood
stage. The Alafia River at Lithia is forecast to rise into flood stage
this afternoon...the Little Manatee River at Wimauma this afternooon...and
the Manatee River near Myakka Head late tonight.
