The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
West central Wakulla County in Big Bend of Florida...
Southeastern Liberty County in Big Bend of Florida...
* Until 430 AM EDT
* At 405 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 16 miles east of Stonemill Creek, or 20 miles southeast
of Blountstown, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
west central Wakulla and southeastern Liberty Counties, including
the following locations: East Camp, Jewel Fire Tower, Poplar Camp,
Smith Creek, Kern, Wilma, Vilas, Jensen Place, Nixon Garden and
Twin Pole.
