At 1220 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
heavy rain continued across the warned area. Up to three inches of 
rain have already fallen and additional storms will move over the 
area over the next few hours. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
shortly.

Highway 97 at The Spring River north of Stotts City...
Scenic Avenue in southwest Springfield...
Route C at The Little Sac River north of Strafford...
Highway 97 just south of Stotts City...
and East Buena Vista Road at Ward Branch south of Springfield.

Additional rainfall amounts of an inch or more are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
