The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a High Rip Current Risk, which is in effect from 8 AM EDT Wednesday through Wednesday evening. * LOCATIONS...Beaches along the Atlantic coast of New Jersey. * TIMING...Through the day Wednesday, but increasing by afternoon and into the evening. * RIP CURRENT RISK...High. * WAVES...4 to 6 feet. * TIDES...Low tide will occur late in the afternoon. * SURF ZONE IMPACTS...Very strong rip currents can be life threatening to anyone who enters the surf.
