The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a High Rip Current Risk, which is in effect until 9 PM EDT this evening. * LOCATIONS...Delaware beaches and Cape May beaches in far southern New Jersey. * TIMING...Through this evening though the greatest risk for strong rip currents will be this morning and early this afternoon. * RIP CURRENT RISK...High. * WAVES...Breaking waves in the surf zone of 4 to 7 ft. * SURF ZONE IMPACTS...Very strong rip currents will be life threatening to anyone who enters the surf.
