Southwestern Queen Anne's County in northeastern Maryland...
Western Kent County in northeastern Maryland...
* Until 130 AM EDT.
* At 925 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 to 4 inches of rain
have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly
in the areas of heaviest rain.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Centerville, Centreville, Rock Hall, Queen Anne, Old Town,
Grasonville, Starr, Stevensville, Langford, Chester, Overton, Wye
Mills, Queenstown, Stevensville South and Dominion.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
