.Wind gusts along the edge of precipitation near I-40 are 
expected to occasionally gust above 60 mph. Additional 
thunderstorms could also result in gusts near 70 mph.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a High Wind
Warning, which is in effect until 2 AM CDT early this morning.

* WINDS...Gusts near 60 to 70 mph.

* TIMING...Until 2 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Power outages, tree damage, damage to small
  structures, and difficult driving conditions are expected,
  especially for those in high profile vehicles. Avoid windows
  while indoors.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
