...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN SIBLEY AND EASTERN
NICOLLET COUNTIES...
At 752 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Winthrop, or 14
miles northeast of New Ulm, moving southeast at 35 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
St. Peter, Gaylord, Winthrop, Nicollet, Lafayette, Oshawa, New
Sweden, Rush River and Norseland.
This includes the following highways...
U.S. Highway 14 between mile markers 118 and 124.
U.S. Highway 169 between mile markers 60 and 61, between mile
markers 64 and 68, and between mile markers 70 and 76.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
