The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
West central Wayne County in southeastern Mississippi...
* Until 245 AM CDT Thursday.
* At 838 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Flash flooding is currently over mainly rural areas of west
central and northwest Wayne County. This situation could change in
the next hour as radar indicated that additional storms are
upstream and moving towards the warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
