Even with dry conditions over the past few days, the river level on
the Saint Johns River Above Lake Harney near Geneva, and near Astor
is forecast to remain in minor flood stage through at least the
middle of next week. A very gradual decline is forecast to begin
Above Lake Harney near Geneva at the start of next week. However,
any localized heavy rainfall may lead to a slight rise in the
river level that is not depicted in the current forecast.

Levels near Astor are forecast to remain nearly steady into this
weekend, with a slow and slight decline in levels forecast above
Lake Harney near Geneva into this weekend.

*At 2.3 feet, Minor flooding of low lying streets and yards north of
Fox Road on Lake County side of Astor, and from River Road northward
on Volusia side of river. Water begins to cover docks at South Moon
Fish Camp.

A River Flood Warning remains in effect for...the St Johns River
Above Lake Harney near Geneva...the St Johns River near Astor...
The St Johns River near Astor has fallen slightly below Minor Flood
stage as of Thursday morning. However, any additional rainfall today
could bring river levels near Astor back to Minor Flood stage by
Thursday evening continuing into this weekend. Therefore, the River
Flood Warning will continue. Minor flooding is expected to last
into this weekend along the St Johns River above Lake Harney near
Geneva with river levels remaining nearly steady before a slight
decline in river levels early next week.

near Astor...
Minor flooding is expected to last into this weekend along the
St Johns River above Lake Harney near Geneva with river levels
remaining nearly steady before a slight decline in river levels
early next week. The St Johns River near Astor has remained and is
forecast to remain below Minor Flood stage. Therefore, the River
Flood Warning near Astor has been canceled. However, even with the
River Flood Warning canceled near Astor, river levels will remain
elevated through early next week.
