The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a High Rip Current Risk, which is in effect until 7 PM EST this evening. * TIMING...Rip Currents will be present in the surf zone all day, but the threat will be especially high after 3PM due to tidal effects. * IMPACTS...Life threatening Rip Currents are likely today.
