Severe Thunderstorm Warning

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Curry County in southwestern Oregon...

* Until 1215 PM PST.

* At 1144 AM PST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Edson Creek Campground to 8 miles southwest of
  Humbug Mountain State Park to 24 miles northwest of Pistol River,
  moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. Waterspouts are 
           possible and may come onshore. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Port Orford, Sixes River Campground, Edson Creek Campground, Humbug
  Mountain State Park, Ophir and Nesika Beach.

This includes US 101 in Oregon between mile markers 301 and 323.
