The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Scurry County in western Texas...

* Until 1215 AM CDT.

* At 910 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain over Eastern Scurry County.  This will produce 
  additional heavy rain in Snyder on top of the heavy rain that fell 
  earlier.  Snyder Fire Department has confirmed low water crossings
  are flooded and barricaded.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Snyder, J B Thomas Reservoir, Hermleigh, Randalls Corner, Winston
  Field, Ira and Knapp.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT FOR
SCURRY COUNTY...

At 1031 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
heavy rain continue over Northern Scurry County. Over 1.54 inches 
have been measured in Snyder.  Road flooding is expected to be 
occurring.  

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Snyder, J B Thomas Reservoir, Hermleigh, Randalls Corner, Winston
Field, Ira and Knapp.
