* At 307 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Bovina, or 15 miles southwest of Friona, moving
  northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado, quarter size hail, and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree

NORTHWESTERN PARMER COUNTY...
    
At 318 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Bovina, or 12 miles southwest of Friona, moving 
northeast at 25 mph.  Rapid near-surface rotation has been reported 
with this storm just southwest of Bovina.   A second area for a 
potential tornado was located 5 NW of Friona.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage

was located 4 miles east of Bovina, or 8 miles southwest of Friona, 
moving northeast at 30 mph.  Residents of Friona should take action 
now to prepare for a tornado.  Strong low level rotation has been 
reported by spotters.

HAZARD...Tornado, quarter size hail, and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.
