* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Boone County in central Missouri...
Northern Callaway County in central Missouri...
* Until 815 PM CDT.
* At 217 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly. Radar estimates that some locations have already
seen 2 to 3 inches of rain.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Columbia, Fulton, Auxvasse, Rocheport, Murry, Shamrock,
Williamsburg, Midway, Kingdom City, McBaine and Hatton.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 115 and 161.
This also includes Rock Bridge State Park and Jewell Cemetery
Historic Site.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small

CENTRAL BOONE AND NORTHERN CALLAWAY COUNTIES...
As of 432 PM CDT, we've had multiple reports from emergency
management, law enforcement, media, and the public of flash flooding
across northern Callaway and central Boone counties. Some of the
worst impacts have been in Columbia, where water is over several
roadways. Two and a half to four inches of rain have already fallen.
Some locations that are experiencing flooding include...
Columbia, Fulton, Auxvasse, Rocheport, Murry, Shamrock, Williamsburg,
Midway, Kingdom City, McBaine and Hatton.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 115 and 161.
