The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northern Fayette County in south central Illinois...
* Until 1130 AM CDT.
* At 630 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to four inches of rain have
already fallen in the last one to two hours. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Vandalia, St. Elmo, Ramsey, Wrights Corner, Shafter, Herrick,
Bingham and Bayle City.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area in the next two hours.
This includes Interstate 70 in Illinois near exit 76.
This also includes Ramsey Lake State Park.

thunderstorms have stopped, but flash flooding is likely still
ongoing.

and Bayle City.
