Central Russell County in south central Kentucky...
* Until 615 PM CDT
* At 321 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Around 2 inches of rain has
fallen near Jamestown. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Jamestown, Russell Springs, Ono, Whittle, Rose Crossroads, Esto,
Sewellton, Karlus and Russell County Airport.
Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the
warned area as slow-moving thunderstorms continue over the area.

CENTRAL RUSSELL COUNTY...
At 400 PM CDT, county dispatch reported one to two inches of water
over Cumberland Avenue, HWY 619, in Jamestown. They also reported
that Big Lily Creek was rising and encroaching on the nearby
roadways.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
