The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 10 AM to 7 PM PST Saturday. * WINDS...Northwest to north 35 to 45 mph with gusts to near 55 on higher terrain such as summits, passes, and ridge tops. * TIMING...Gusty winds beginning late morning, increasing toward sunset, and subsiding after dark. Strongest winds in the afternoon. * IMPACTS...Blowing dust will decrease visibility at times. High profile vehicles will have difficulty maintaining lanes or straight driving.
