...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM MDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN PERKINS AND SOUTHWESTERN KEITH COUNTIES...
    
At 745 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located 8 miles south of
Brule, or 10 miles northwest of Grant, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Public confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Wild Horse Spring.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 70 and 74.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest
floor of a building.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN PERKINS AND SOUTHWESTERN
KEITH COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 800 PM MDT...
    
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.  However
small hail and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT for
southwestern Nebraska.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
north central and northeast Pernkins county and southern Keith 
county.
