  Southwestern Logan County in west central Nebraska...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 703 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a slow moving thunderstorm 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. More than three 
  inches of rain have already fallen in spots. Flash flooding may 
  begin shortly.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Stapleton and Gandy. 

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 92 between mile markers 218 and 228.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 110 and 116.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

three inches of rain have already fallen in spots. Flash flooding is 
expected to begin shortly.
