At 10 AM AST, San Juan buoy was indicating wave heights near 9
feet at 18 seconds. This is causing large breaking wave action
around 15 feet. Offshore buoys 41043 and 41044 had the northeast
swell between 13-15 feet during the morning hours. The peak of the
swell is expected this afternoon but is forecast to continue
through at least Sunday. Minor coastal flooding is possible along
the northern exposed coastal areas of the islands, especially
around noon today and through the mid afternoon hours.
