  Western Woodford County in central Illinois...
  Tazewell County in central Illinois...
  Eastern Peoria County in central Illinois...

* Until 1130 AM CDT

* At 633 AM CDT, Doppler radar and spotters indicated thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of 
  rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
  shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Peoria, Pekin, Lacon, East Peoria, Morton, Washington, Bartonville,
  Chillicothe, Creve Coeur, West Peoria, Metamora, Germantown Hills,
  Marquette Heights, Henry, Tremont, Bellevue, Mackinaw, Delavan,
  Rome and Dunlap.

Additional rainfall amounts over an inch are possible in the warned 
area.

At 747 AM CDT, Law Enforcement has reported numerous county roadways 
covered with water, urban manhole covers displaced, and a mudslide 
due to recent heavy rain of up to 4 inches. While rainfall rates are 
decreasing, flooding will continue this morning.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Peoria, Pekin, Lacon, East Peoria, Morton, Washington, Bartonville,
Chillicothe, Creve Coeur, West Peoria, Metamora, Germantown Hills,
Marquette Heights, Henry, Tremont, Bellevue, Mackinaw, Delavan, Rome
and Dunlap.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 155 between mile markers 11 and 31.
 Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 14.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 85 and 110.

COUNTIES...

At 844 AM CDT, law enforcement reported that Route 17 in Sparland 
was closed due to high water.  Numerous county roads have water 
flowing across them throughout the warning area.  While the heavy 
rain that caused the flash flooding has ended, residual flooding is 
expected to continue through midday.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Peoria, Pekin, Lacon, East Peoria, Morton, Washington, Bartonville,
Chillicothe, Creve Coeur, West Peoria, Metamora, Germantown Hills,
Marquette Heights, Henry, Tremont, Bellevue, Mackinaw, Delavan, Rome
and Dunlap.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 155 between mile markers 11 and 31.
 Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 14.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 85 and 110.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
