The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Lewis County in northeastern Kentucky...

* Until 300 AM EDT.

* At 1153 PM EDT, radar indicated that thunderstorms had produced
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have 
  already fallen. Heavy rain continues to fall with another 1 to 2 
  inches possible. Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause 
  flash flooding to occur.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Head of Grassy, Camp Dix, Harris, Petersville and Stricklett. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

dangers of flooding.

EFFECT Until 300 AM EDT....

At 1249 AM EDT, radar indicated that thunderstorms had produced 
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to four inches of rain have 
already fallen, with additional light to moderate rainfall expected 
to continue for another hour or two. Runoff from this excessive 
rainfall will cause flash flooding to occur.
