The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a High Wind Warning, which is in effect until 3 AM CDT early this morning. These winds are the result of strong low pressure developing behind an area of thunderstorms moving through northeast South Dakota, called a wake low. * TIMING...Through 3 am CDT. * WINDS...Gusts of 45 to 60 mph. * IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions for high profile and light weight vehicles.
