* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northwestern Muscogee County in west central Georgia...
Southwestern Harris County in west central Georgia...
* Until 815 AM EDT.
* At 218 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that heavy rain has
expanded over western portions of Muscogee and Harris counties.
Around 2 to 3 inches of rain has fallen from just south of Lake
Harding to Green Island Hills. This area of heavy rainfall is
expected to continue expanding eastward into the central areas of
both counties over the next few hours. Flash flooding is expected
to begin shortly.

Columbus, Bibb City, Goat Rock Lake, Edgewood, Highland Park,
Laurel Hills, Green Island Hills, Columbus Metropolitan Airport,

NORTHWESTERN MUSCOGEE AND SOUTHWESTERN HARRIS COUNTIES...
At 519 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that three to four inches of
rain has fallen in western Muscogee and Harries Counties this
morning...mainly along and west of a line from Mulberry Grove to
Fortson to Laurel Hills. Additional rainfall amounts around an inch
continue possible.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Columbus, Bibb City, Goat Rock Lake, Edgewood, Highland Park, Laurel
Hills, Green Island Hills, Columbus Metropolitan Airport, Rose Hill,
