heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Rome, Cave Spring, Shannon, Lyerly, Pinson, Lindale, Tidings,
Armuchee, Lake Marvin, Coosa, Chattoogaville, Everett Springs,

WILL EXPIRE AT 600 AM EDT...
It has been several hours since the heavy rain has moved out of the
area and rapidly rising water from Flash Flooding is no longer
expected to pose a threat. However, creeks and streams are still
likely to be running high, and some roads may still have some
ponding of water in low areas, please continue to heed any remaining
road closures.
