This airmass has a history of producing non- thunderstorm winds up to 60 mph in eastern Nebraska, and while wind gusts should decrease in intensity as the front pushes southeast, frequent gusts to 45 mph are still expected across far northwest MO for a few hours after the cold front passes. The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 11 PM CDT this evening. * TIMING...The front will enter far northwest Missouri around 8 PM, then wind gusts should begin to diminish in intensity by around 11 PM. * WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph. * IMPACTS...Loose objects may be blown around. Difficult travel for high profile vehicles, especially on east-west oriented roads. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
