* Until 700 AM CDT Monday.

* At 1259 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. One to 
  three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee's Summit,
  Shawnee, Blue Springs, Lenexa, Leawood, Raytown, Liberty,
  Gladstone, Grandview, Belton, Prairie Village, Raymore, Gardner,
  Lansing, Excelsior Springs and Merriam.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the 
warned area.

At 448 AM CDT, a few roadways have been barricaded due to high 
water. Additionally, Indian Creek at State Line Road, Tomahawk Creek 
at Roe Avenue, Blue River at Blue Ridge Boulevard and Stanley, KS 
are experiencing or will experience minor flooding.

Some other locations that will experience flooding include... Kansas 
City, Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee's Summit, Shawnee, 
Blue Springs, Lenexa, Leawood, Raytown, Liberty, Gladstone, 
Grandview, Belton, Prairie Village, Raymore, Gardner, Lansing, 
Excelsior Springs and Merriam.
