* At 427 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Two or
more inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Washburn, Hawthorne, Iron River, Lake Nebagamon, Maple, Barksdale,
Brule, Poplar In Douglas County, Solon Springs, Oulu, Dairyland,
South Range, Ino, Foxboro, Bennett, Cloverland, Moose Junction,
Amnicon Lake, Blueberry, and Patzau.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area in the next hour. Another round of thunderstorms is

At 608 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated storms have moved out of the
warned area. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 or more inches have fallen
so far this evening. Another round of storms is expected to move
into the area beginning around 7 PM, and are expected to producing
heavy rain over the warned area. Another 2 to 3 inches is pos
sible. Flash flooding is expected to continue or affect more areas.
