  Southeastern Edwards County in south central Kansas...

* Until 615 PM CDT
    
* At 528 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 6 miles southwest of Centerview, moving northeast at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Centerview around 540 PM CDT. 
  Lewis around 555 PM CDT.

SOUTHEASTERN EDWARDS COUNTY...
    
At 542 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 3 miles northeast of Centerview, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Edwards County.
