Water levels reached 2.4 feet mean sea level at high tide early this morning, resulting in minor coastal flooding along the Middle Texas Gulf coast, the bays and along the intracoastal waterways. Water level will slowly recede this morning, and therefore ending the coastal flood threat. Also, a high risk for rip currents is in effect through this evening along the Gulf facing beaches.
