* Until 1045 PM EDT

* At 741 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has 
  already fallen with additional thunderstorms expected to move 
  through the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
  shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Essex Junction, South Burlington, Burlington International Airport,
  Burlington, Jericho, St. George, Duxbury, Jericho Village,
  Waterbury, Essex Junction Village, Williston, Bolton, Shelburne,
  Richmond, Essex, Underhill, Hinesburg, Charlotte, Huntington and
  Stowe.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch are possible in the 
warned area in the next hour.

SOUTHWESTERN LAMOILLE...CENTRAL CHITTENDEN AND NORTHWESTERN
WASHINGTON COUNTIES...

At 914 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated up to two inches of rain has 
fallen in the warned area. Waters are expected to have the potential 
to overwhelm culverts specifically in Shelburne and West Bolton 
where the highest rainfall totals are. Flooding has already been 
reported in Nashville Vermont and additional flash flooding is 
expected to begin shortly.

Burlington, Jericho, St. George, Duxbury, Jericho Village, Waterbury,
Essex Junction Village, Williston, Bolton, Shelburne, Richmond,

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
