* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South central Starr County in Deep South Texas...

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1009 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported widespread flooding 
  in the Rio Grande City area. Water is entering homes with several 
  water rescues ongoing along Highway 83. 3 to 5 inches of rain have 
  already fallen with additional 1 to 2 inches possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Rio Grande City, Garciasville, Starr County Memorial Hospital, La
  Puerta, Ringgold Middle School, Fort Ringgold County Park, Starr
  County Sheriffs Office, Rio Grande City Municipal Airport, Las
  Lomas and Rio Grande City Fire Department.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT FOR
SOUTH CENTRAL STARR COUNTY...

At 1059 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported a stranded vehicle 
due to flooding on the north side of Rio Grande City. Minor flooding 
is expected to continue, however, conditions are gradually improving.

Rio Grande City, Garciasville, Starr County Memorial Hospital, La
Puerta, Ringgold Middle School, Fort Ringgold County Park, Starr
County Sheriffs Office, Rio Grande City Municipal Airport, Las Lomas
