Very strong northerly winds over eastern Colorado will continue through this evening, and then be only a little weaker through the day Saturday. The storm will create blizzard conditions in far northeast and east central Colorado, and potentially damaging winds in areas closer to the mountains. There have been numerous reports of wind damage over northeastern and east central Colorado, with power outages, downed trees and overturned trucks.
