The National Weather Service in Denver has cancelled the High Wind Warning. Winds across the Front Range Mountains and Foothills were decreasing this morning, and that trend will continue through the rest of the afternoon and evening. Peak gusts will still reach 70 mph above timberline, but most peak gusts in the foothills through the rest of the day will range between 35 and 50 mph. Peak wind gusts reported from this last windstorm include... 86 mph Berthoud Pass. 82 mph near Gold Hill just west of Boulder. 74 mph at Glen Haven. 69 mph near Aspen Springs. 68 mph at Georgetown. 67 mph near Loveland Pass. $$
