The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Lincoln County in east central Colorado...

* Until 1215 AM MDT.

* At 910 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain 6 miles southeast of Arriba. The rain is moving
  southeast at 10 mph. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Arriba.

This replaces the Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory that was in 
effect for this area.

Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches can be expected in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flash flooding of 
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM MDT FOR
EAST CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTY...

At 1014 PM MDT, a thunderstorm producing heavy rain was located 6
miles southeast of Arriba, or 10 miles southwest of Flagler, moving 
southeast at 5 mph. As much as 5 inches inches of rain have fallen. 
Flash flooding is ongoing.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Arriba.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 inch are possible in the 
warned area.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM MDT FOR
EAST CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTY...

At 1126 PM MDT, most of the thunderstorms producing heavy rain had 
moved out of eastern Lincoln county.  A small area of 3 to 5 inches 
of rain likely fell earlier this evening south of Arriba.  Flash 
flooding is ongoing.  

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
rural areas south of Arriba.
